During and after her studies she traveled extensively in the Middle East, Africa and Europe and settled for a time in Belgium where she worked mostly on ceramics and drawings.
 
Abstract painting has been her main focus since she moved to the US. She has shown her acrylic paintings and mixed media in several group and personal exhibitions in US and Europe. Her group exhibition at the Wallace gallery in Old Westbury NY was featured in the New York Times.
Her most recent work integrates organic materials and is a vibrant homage to her Dad’s life journey and is inspired by her Dogon roots from Mali.
